Victorian Sterling Fede Gimmel Bangle Bracelet. A fede bracelet is a symbol of love or friendship and this dainty example is wonderfully preserved for its age. Made about 1890, this piece features two delicate thin sterling bracelets that are connected at a pin opposite the hands. When the bracelets are pivoted together, the hands clasp. The top and bottom edges of the joined bracelet are decorated with a pattern of flowers and swirls. The outer edge is decorated with geometric patterns. In very good vintage condition, with a lovely patina and no damage noted.
