Vintage Mexican Sterling Silver Brooch Pendant: Green Chalcedony Pin

Vintage Mexican Silver Green Chalcedony Brooch Pendant. This elegant brooch features a large oval cabochon of green chalcedony set in a plain bezel, framed by loopy coiled decoration. The piece measures 2 inches long and 1 3/8 inch wide. Made in the 1950s, the pin is stamped on the reverse: F 925 Hecho en Mexico around an illegible maker's mark. The brooch has a pin with roll over safety, as well as a bale for wear as a pendant. In very good vintage condition, with lovely patina and no other damage noted.

STONE: Dyed Green Calcite, also called Green Onyx in Mexican Jewelry
HALLMARKS/HISTORY: Stamped on the reverse: F 925 Hecho en Mexico around an illegible maker's mark
