Antique Gold Filled Engraved Locket Pendant Necklace. This sweet little Victorian locket is elaborately decorated on front with engraving and black enamel and on reverse with embossing and scroll and flower engraving. The locket has a bale with flower decoration and a hinge on left edge. And the interior of the locket has both original photo frames, though one is crimped. There is also blue background fabric. The locket measures 5/6" X 1 1/4" (including bale) and is suspended from a 7" drawn curb chain necklace finished with spring ring. This chain likely dates from the 1940s, while the locket dates from about 1890. In good vintage condition, with minor wear to finish, some missing black enamel, and some crimping to one photo frame.
