Antique 10K Rose de France Amethyst Ring. This late Victorian ring features a rectangular scissor cut Rose de France Amethyst with curved ends set in six prongs of 10K solid yellow gold atop a banded shank. The lovely amethyst has the dusky pale lilac color so favored among Victorians. The amethyst weighs approximately 12 CT. The ring is in very good vintage condition, with minor abrasion to the stone, as well as minor ships to the girdle under one prong and no other damage noted.

CENTER STONE: Scissor Cut Rose de France Amethyst weighing 12 CT (as estimated by measurement)
