Victorian Sterling Gilt Griffin Cherub Buckle. This antique Victorian two piece belt buckle is a beautiful repousse design featuring a domed cartouche with cherub at base, flanked by a griffin on each side. Made of sterling silver, the buckle ja a finish of gilt. This buckle would accommodate a 1/2 inch belt or strap. In Very Good antique condition, with minor surface wear and no damage noted.
