Vintage Bohemian Garnet Cluster Ring. What a lovely Victorian example of the popular bohemian Garnet jewelry! Rose cut almandite garnets in varied shapes including pear and round are prong set in a sterling silver plate mounted atop a low solid 10K settings with shoulders with embossed and engraved decoration. The size 6 3/4 ring is in good vintage condition, with signs of resizing and some chips to a few of the garnets.
ERA: Victorian, 1880s
METAL/MATERIAL: Sterling Silver and 10K Gold (tested)
HALLMARK/HISTORY: Unmarked, but remnants of faint hand engraved initials remain.
STONES: Rose Cut Almandite Garnets
MEASUREMENTS: 13.35 mm diameter head, with shank tapering to 3.1 mm in width at reverse
RING SIZE: 6.75
WEIGHT: 3.1 grams
CONDITION: Good Vintage Condition, with signs of resizing and some chips to a few of the garnets. Previously owned and worn.
