Vintage Gold Filled Floating Opal Pendant Necklace. Chips of natural opals gemstones are suspended in glycerin inside a glass orb capped with a four-petaled tulip cap in 10K Gold Filled. Each of the chips has lovely play of color and there is no discoloration to the liquid or stones.
The pendant has a fold over bale and is suspended on a replacement 20 inch long vermeil box chain made by Danecraft. The chain is marked 925 Italy Danecraft. In very good vintage condition, with no damage noted. The chain is a replacement of a later date, but was on this pendant when I purchased it.
