Vintage Sterling Silver Shell Shaped Serving Dish. Made of solid sterling silver, this lovely scallop shell serving dish would be wonderful to serve iced seafood at your holiday event. sitting on three ball feet, this large dish measures 10 1/2 inches long X 10 inches wide X 1 3/4 inches tall at rim. It weighs 1 pound, or 454 grams. It is in very good vintage condition with minor surface patina and scratches consistent with age. I have gently hand polished this lovely piece, but you may choose to polish it more.
