Antique 830 Silver Norwegian Solje Wedding Brooch. The Solje is a traditional wedding brooch worn in Norway and believed to protect brides from evil. This lovely example features coiled white drops accented with gold washed round and spoon-shaped dangles. All of these elements are suspended from a wreath shaped brooch. The brooch measures approximately 2 3/8 inches X 1 1/4 inches and is finished with a curly C clasp and very long pin stem.
