Antique 10KT Yellow Gold Black and White Onyx Ring. Made about 1900, this ring is elegant and simple, with a layered black and white onyx stone set in a plain bezel. The ring has recently been refurbished and polished, but the stone shows the love and wear of more than 100 years, with edge chips and surface scratches. Composite agate stones like this were often engraved with intaglios, although this one remains blank. The size 8.25 ring feels lovely on the hand.

WEIGHT: 3 grams
HALLMARKS/HISTORY: Unmarked, as the ring was likely made prior to the Gold Stamping Act of 1906
MEASUREMENTS: Ring measures 13 mm wide at head, tapering to 2 mm at the reverse.
CONDITION: Recently professionally refurbished, the ring itself is in very good vintage condition, while the stone has surface scratches and edge chips.
