Antique Lady's Gold Filled Necklace Chain for Watch, Lorgnette, Muff, or Locket. Made about 1900, this alternating pain and textured oval link watch chain has a scalloped slide, and measures 11.3 mm X 7.2 mm X 3.8 mm. The slide charm is set with an opal doublet with beautiful blue tones. The link chain is 28 inches long (excluding the clasp) and is finished with a dog clip clasp to hold a pendant watch, lorgnette, muff or locket. Most slide watch chains are much longer, leading me to believe this chain has been shortened at some time. In Very Good Vintage Condition, with minor surface wear.

MEASUREMENTS: Chain is 28" long, excluding the dog clip clasp. The slide measures 11.3 mm X 7.2 mm X 3.8 mm.
WEIGHT: 6.4 grams total weight
CONDITION: In very good vintage condition, with minor surface wear. Original cork seems to be missing. I believe the chain has been shortened. Previously owned and worn.
