Antique Edwardian 10K White Gold Filigree Lavaliere Necklace with Rock Crystal Panel and Diamond. Made in the 1920s, this necklace features a beautiful octagonal frosted rock crystal quartz slab with starburst engraving on the reverse. While many necklaces of this style were made with camphor glass, this one is made with carved and frosted natural rock crystal quartz. The pendant is further enhanced with a single cut diamond weighing approximately .04 CT set in an illusion head with filigree frame. The pendant drops from a single necklace link suspended from a floral link. The necklace links are lovely rectangular puffed filigree links with milgrain trimmed connectors. The original clasp is beautiful and secure. The pendant measures 7/8" X 1 1/2", with the total length of drop measuring 2 1/2", while the necklace has a wearable length of 15 1/2". Very Good vintage condition, with one replacement connecting loop at reverse of chain and no other damage noted.
