Antique Lady's Gold Filled Necklace Chain for Watch, Lorgnette, Muff, or Locket. Made about 1900, this long rope link watch chain has a navette shaped slide, measuring14.5 mm X 6.1 mm X 4.9 mm. The slide charm is set with three opal doublets with beautiful play of color and two natural seed pearls. The rope chain is 48 inches long (excluding the clasp) and is finished with a dog clip clasp to hold a pendant watch, lorgnette, muff or locket. Watch chains like this are wonderful doubled or worn as bracelets wrapped around the wrist. In Very Good Vintage Condition, with minor surface wear.
