Edwardian Ostby Barton 10K White Gold Tiny Signet Ring. Made by Ostby Barton, this wonderful signet ring has an elongated cartouche hand engraved "Ed". The shoulders are decorated with beautiful geometric arrow designs. The size makes it a great pinky or midi ring! It is a size 5 1/2, weighs 1.5 grams, and is in very good vintage condition, having ben professionally cleaned and polished.
The ring is marked 10K OB for Ostby Barton. The firm was founded in 1879 and continued through the 1920s. Ostby Barton is well known not only for their high quality jewelry, but because one of the founders, Englebart Ostby perished in the Titanic.
