Antique 14K Gold Rich Purple Amethyst Kilt Pin. The deep purple amethyst is stunning! The large oval faceted amethyst weighs approximately 7 carats and is bezel set in the top of this 14K yellow gold kilt pin. The piece is finished with coiled wire spring and clasp. It is in very good vintage condition with no damage noted. It would look fabulous on a sweater or cape!
ERA: Art Nouveau, 1900s
METAL: 14K Yellow Gold (tested)
MATERIAL: Oval faceted natural amethyst weighing approximately 7 CT, as estimated by measurement
HALLMARKS/HISTORY: Unmarked, which is not unusual for American made pieces made before 1906 when jewelry hallmarking was regulated in the US. Tested as 14K gold.
MEASUREMENTS: 2 1/2 inch X 1/2 inch X 5/8 inch
WEIGHT: 6.1 grams
CONDITION: Very Good Vintage Condition, with very minor surface wear. Previously owned and worn.
