Vintage Mexican Sterling Silver Carved Blue Glass Mask Ring. Made in the 1940s, this elongated ring has a marquise shaped blue glass cabochon carved with a stylized mask. The carving is bezel set with a frame of filigree loops with ball accents. The ring is a large size 6.75. A pretty piece of early Mexican silver jewelry!

METAL/MATERIALS: 925 Sterling Silver
STONE: Blue Carved Glass with Foil Back
HALLMARKS/HISTORY: Partial Mark on Reverse reads Plata 925 CMB Iguala. There is no eagle mark, so I believe the ring was made in the early 1940s.
MEASUREMENTS: Head of ring measures 1 5/8" X 3/4". Shank measures 2 mm at reverse.
WEIGHT: 6.5 grams
RING SIZE: 6 3/4
CONDITION: In very good vintage condition, with minor wear appropriate to age and shank slightly out of round. Previously owned and worn.
