Vintage 10K Yellow Gold Marquise Ruby and Diamond Cluster Cocktail Ring. Made in the 1980s, this ring features one marquise ruby, surrounded by eight single cut diamonds, which are then framed by twelve round rubies, all prong set atop a raised gallery. The rubies have a combined total weight of approximately 1.2 CT and the diamonds have a combined total weight of approximately .10 CT. The ring measures 12mm X 16mm wide at the head, which stands 8.9mm high. Shank tapers to 1.5 mm at the reverse. The ring is a size 9. In very good vintage condition, with very minor surface scratches.
ERA: Retro, circa 1980
METAL/MATERIALS: 10K Yellow Gold, One Marquise Faceted Ruby, Twelve Round Faceted Rubies and Eight Single Cut Natural Diamonds. The rubies are lead glass filled, a very typical treatment for rubies in the 1980s.
HALLMARKS/HISTORY: Faint 10K and THAILAND with unknown maker's mark
MEASUREMENTS: The ring measures approximately 12mm X 16mm at the head and sits 8.9mm above the finger.

WEIGHT: 3.2 grams
CONDITION: In very good vintage condition, with very minor surface scratches and no other damage noted. Previously owned and worn.
