Art Deco Vintage Sterling Silver Floating Opal Pendant Necklace from the 1930s. Chips of natural opals gemstones are suspended in glycerin inside a glass orb capped with a stippled and etched sterling four-petaled cap. Each of the chips has lovely play of color and there is no discoloration to the liquid or stones. The pendant has a jump ring and is suspended on a 16 inch long rope twist chain. The chain is marked sterling with an unknown maker's mark. In very good vintage condition, with no damage noted.

HALLMARKS/HISTORY: Stamped 925 on chain tag. Pendant cap and bale test as sterling silver.
