Vintage Tiny 985 Silver Miraculous Medal Necklace. This dainty round medal has a simple design and a tiny size at 3/8 X 5/8 inches. It is marked 985 with stylized eagle on the bale on the reverse and is suspended from brand new 20" sterling chain. The medal is in Good Vintage Condition with minor wear appropriate to age.
ERA: Mid Century, 1950s
METAL/MATERIALS: 985 Silver, which has higher silver content than sterling silver
HALLMARKS/HISTORY: Sterling on reverse of medal985 with unidentified eagle mark on bale. Chain is stamped 925 and the hallmark of the Garlan Chain Company, a Massachusetts-based chain manufacturer.
CONDITION: In Good Vintage Condition, with minor wear appropriate to age. Previously owned and worn.
MEASUREMENTS OF MEDAL: The dainty little pendant is 5/8 inch tall (including attached bale) and 3/8 wide.
MEASUREMENTS OF CHAIN: 20 inches long
