Vintage 925 Sterling Silver Taxco Mexico Green Calcite Mayan Calendar Brooch Pendant. A domed Mayan calendar is riveted atop a slab of dyed green calcite that is set in a simple bezel framed with loopy filigree. The piece measures 2 inches long and 1 1/2 inch wide. Made in the 1950s, the pin is stamped on the reverse: Hecho en Mexico Sterling 925 HE with Eagle Mark 28. The brooch has a pin with roll over safety, as well as s bale for wear as a pendant. In very good vintage condition, with lovely patina and no other damage noted.
