Vintage Girl in Mirror Brooch: Gold Tone Dress Up Pin

Vintage AJC Little Girl Playing Dress Up in Mirror Gold Tone Brooch. AJC made a number of variations of these figural brooches of a lady in mirror during the 1980s, but this one is unusual because it is a child. If you look closely at the side picture, you will see this is actually a girl standing on a stool in her dress up finery. This back view is also visible in the mirror. The pin measures 2 3/4 inch by 1 1/8 inch. The brooch is finished with a pin stem with roll over safety clasp. In Good Vintage Condition, with minor flaking of the gold plating at the maker's mark on the lower right edge on reverse.
ERA: Retro, 1980s
METAL/MATERIALS: Alloy, Plastic Mirror
HALLMARKS/HISTORY: Copyright AJC, mostly obscured by plating. AJC is the mark of the American Jewelry Chain Company, which operated in Rhode Island from 1927 to the 1990s.
CONDITION: Good vintage condition, with minor flaking of the finish at the lower right reverse. Previously owned and worn.
