Large Vintage Mother of Pearl Marcasite 925 Sterling Silver Brooch. Made during the Art Deco revival of the 1980s, this oversized brooch features two bezel set rhomboid mother of pearl slabs surrounded by curves and swirls of marcasites. There is some pierce work, making this a dramatic piece to wear. The pin has a hinged pin stem with roll over safety. It is marked Sterling with H hallmark of Heirloom 73 Jewelry of New York. In excellent vintage condition with no damage noted.
