Antique 10K Gold Filled Chunky Square Locket Watch Fob Pendant. This sweet little Victorian locket is really elaborately decorated and is a combination of yellow and rose gold filled. The thick square locket is set on the diagonal and suspended from a fancy curled strap decorated bale bracket. Unfortunately, there is a break in the strap one one side which may not affect wearability, as this break seems to have been present for a long time. The locket features the same graceful foliate scroll engraving on the front and back panels and has a scallop ribbed edge. It has a hinge on one lower side. Lots of lovely little details And the interior of the locket is incredible with original photo frames and celluloids, as well as red embossed paper backing.
Made about 1890, this beautiful locket pendant was to be worn as a pocket watch fob, but is perfect for wear on a necklace. The bale will accommodate a 4 mm chain. The locket is 1 3/8 inches tall (including the bale), 7/8 inch wide and 7/16 inch deep. In good vintage condition, with no damage aside from the break i the bracket.
