Vintage Root Beer Aurora Borealis Rhinestone Tiered Spray Brooch. Made in the 1960s, this brooch features navette shaped root beer foil backed rhinestones, round topaz rhinestones, and round orange rhinestones with aurora borealis finish. These prong set stones are layered and accented by a row of matching smaller stones running through the center of the pin. The puddled solder and overall design are reminiscent of Delizza and Elster, but I have not located this piece in any references. The brooch is finished with an attached bar pin assembly with pin with no pin stop and roll over safety clasp. The brooch is in Vert Good Vintage Condition, with no damage noted.
