Vintage Root Beer Aurora Borealis Rhinestone and Blue on Brown Cracked Ice Glass Brooch. Made in the 1960s, this sparkling round starburst brooch features four deep layers of prong set round and marquise root beer brown rhinestones, as well as some smaller round aurora borealis coated rhinestones, and pear shaped cracked ice molded glass in topaz with blue iridescent coating. Made with swedge construction, the brooch is finished with filigree back plate and an attached bar pin assembly with pin with no pin stop and roll over safety clasp. The brooch is in Good Vintage Condition, with no damage noted aside from minor surface scuffs to the stones and finish.
