Vintage 14K Cultured Akoya Pearl Solitaire Ring. Pearls are said to symbolize purity and loyalty and have long been gifted as sweetheart and engagement rings for this reason. This dainty ring features one round 5.7 mm bright white cultured pearl glued on a peg setting on a solid 10K gold shank. The ring is a size 5 1/2 and dates to the 1960s. The piece is in Very Good Vintage Condition, with minor surface wear appropriate to age.
