Vintage 18K Black Star Sapphire Solitaire Ring. This 1960s ring has an oval cabochon natural black star sapphire set in a raised six prong head with scalloped cut outs and a bold shoulder design. The sapphire has a very diffuse six rayed star. It is a size 6 3/4 and is in Very Good Vintage Condition, with minor wear consistent with age. It was a gift from a US service member serving abroad in the 1960s and was likely made in Thailand.

STONE: One Oval Cabochon Natural Black Star Sapphires with estimated weight of 2 CT
HALLMARKS/HISTORY: 18K and 22
CONDITION: Very Good Vintage Condition, with very minor surface wear. Previously owned and worn.
MEASUREMENTS: The head measures 8.65 mm wide and the shank tapers to 2.6 mm at the reverse of the shank.
