14K Gold Ring Guard with Diamonds and Rubies. This ring guard is an estate piece designed to fit a solitaire engagement ring. There are six round brilliant cut diamonds with a combined total weight of .20 CT TW and eight round faceted rubies with a combined total weight of approximately .40 CT TW. All stones are prong set in two tiers. The ring jacket is a size 6 3/4 and will accommodate a ring with a shank 1.8 mm wide and the head can be up to 5.5 mm in diameter.

HALLMARK: EVER - 14KP. This is the makers' mark for Harold Freeman Jewelry Mfg. Co. which opened in New York in 1960.

RUBY WEIGHT: .40 CT TW (as estimated by measurement)
MEASUREMENTS: Ring is 13.5 mm wide at the head and 5.4 mm at the reverse.
RING SIZE: 6.75
WEIGHT: 5 grams
CONDITION: Very good vintage condition, with minor surface wear, but no damage noted. Previously owned and worn.
