Eighties Vintage 10K Marquise Sapphire Diamond Ring. Raised pyramid bands of marquise colored stones and diamonds were so popular in the 1980s! The 10K yellow gold ring features five marquise cut sapphires alternating with eight single cut diamond accents. All stones are prong set on tiered raised gallery. The ring is 6.2 mm wide at front, tapering to 1.6 mm at the reverse. Marked 10KP and IL inside of band. In very good vintage condition, with minimal surface wear.

STONES: 8 Single Cut Diamonds with estimated total weight of .10 CT, 5 Marquise Faceted Heat Treated Sapphires. Heat treatment of sapphires was typical in the 1980s and does not created any need for special care or handling.
HALLMARKS/HISTORY: 10KP and IL, with the P denoting "Plumb", or precisely 10K. This mark was used for a brief period in the 1980s.
MEASUREMENTS: Ring is 6.2 mm wide at front, tapering to 1.6 mm at the reverse.
