Vintage Cultured Freshwater Rice Pearl Necklace and Bracelet Made in the 1980s, this matching necklace and bracelet set features freshwater rice pearls measuring approximately 4.5 mm X 3.5 mm with 14K gold accent beads measuring 3 mm in diameter. Finished with 14K spring ring clasps and bearing 14K mark on end tag of both pieces. The necklace is 18" long and the bracelet is 7 1/2" long. In the 1980s when these freshwater rice pearls first hit the market, they were highly desirable due to their novelty. The set is in excellent condition and seems to have never been worn.
