Vintage Nolan Miller Ruffle Brooch. This hard-to-find brooch is a Nolan Miller interpretation of the coveted Schreiner ruffle brooches. This brooch has two layers if brilliant keystone shaped clear crystals radiating from a central pale lavender imitation alexandrite oval crystal surrounded by a row of peridot green round crystals. All stones are unfoiled and a re prong set in open back mountings. The color of the center stone changes slightly in different lights. The photo on blue velvet is in diffused sunlight. The tiered brooch measures 2 5/8 X 2 1/4 inches and is finished with an integrated pin mechanism with roll-over safety clasp. In-mold marks of Nolan Miller and Thailand on reverse. This piece is in Excellent Condition, with no damage of any sort noted. Ships in Nolan Miller Box, but not the box original to brooch.
