Vintage 14K Translucent Natural Opal Earrings. Custom made in the 1980s, these dainty studs feature a pair of translucent oval cabochon opals set in hand fabricated X mountings with simple prongs. The stones are so translucent that you can actually see the mountings behind them if you look closely. The stones have a cloudy whitish body color with strong flashes of green and blue, and bold orange flashes in one. The stones have a combined total weight of approximately 1 CT. Finished with 14K posts and push backs, the earrings are in Excellent Vintage Condition with no damage noted.
