Vintage Sterling Silver Akoya Cultured Pearl Ring. A 5.5mm Akoya cultured pearl sits in a concave oval of stippled sterling with scalloped edge accent atop a tapered shank with ribbed and decorated shoulders. The ring is a size 6 1/2. Stamped Sterling with C&C mark of Clark and Coombs on the inner shank, the ring is in very good vintage condition with some minor surface wear, consistent with age.
ERA: 1960s
METAL/MATERIAL: Sterling Silver and Akoya Cultured Pearl
HALLMARKS/HISTORY: Sterling and C & C in triangles mark of Clark and Coombs, first used in 1923 in their Providence, RI location.
CONDITION: Very Good Vintage Condition, with minor surface wear. Previously owned and worn
MEASUREMENTS: The head of the ring measures 7/16" X 5/8" and the shank tapers to 2.2 mm at the reverse.
WEIGHT: 3.5 grams
