Antique Edwardian Habille Cameo Brooch with 14K White Gold Filigree Frame with Leaves. The shell cameo is very finely hand carved, with crisp, clear detail to face, up-swept hair with floral accents, and drape with more flowers at shoulders. The cameo is carved from a conch shell. The cameo is further enhanced with a necklace of sterling silver set with a full cut diamond weighing approximately .03 CT. Cameos wearing jewelry are referred to as Habille.
The large 14K rectangular setting has hearts shaped filigree pattern with corner accents of leaves. The piece is finished with safety typical of the period. The presence of a swivel bail makes it possible to wear this piece as a necklace pendant.

HALLMARKS/HISTORY: Stamped 14K on safety. There is a maker's mark on the inside of the bezel that we are unable to decipher, as well as a 14K mark.
CONDITION: Very Good Vintage Condition, with minor age wear and patina appropriate to age. The bezel is tight, cameo is intact and free from cracks, and pin and pendant mechanisms both function perfectly.
SIZE/MEASUREMENTS: 1 3/4 inch x 1 3/8 inch.
