Vintage Sterling Silver Baby Brush and Comb Set by Webster with Engine Turned Decoration. The pretty little brush has a rectangular cartouche against a striped field. It has nylon bristles set in a cream painted wood base. The brush is 5 inches long and 1 5/8 inches wide. Marked with Sterling and the Webster maker's mark at the top of the handle on the brush side. The matching comb has nylon teeth in a sterling silver handle (marked) and measures 4 1/2 X 1".
Both pieces are in good vintage condition, with a soft patina from wear, several dents on the reverse, slight tarnish, and some chipping to the painted surface.
ERA: WWII Era, 1940s

HALLMARKS/HISTORY: Stamped Sterling, with the Webster Company maker's mark. Webster was founded in 1894 in North Attleboro, MA
CONDITION: In good vintage condition, with a soft patina from wear, several dents on the reverse, slight tarnish, and some cracking to the painted surface of the brush.
MEASUREMENTS: Brush measures 5" long and 1 5/8" wide and comb measures 4 1/2 X 1".
