Mid Century Modern 14K White Gold Lab Created Blue Star Sapphire Ring with Diamond Accents. Made about 1960, this ring features a 2.25 CT lab created blue star sapphire and six single cut diamonds with a combined total weight of approximately .10 CT TW. The stone has an etched L on the underside of the cabochon. The sapphire cabochon is set lengthwise with four tapered prongs on both sides accented by six bead set single cut diamonds arranged in a crescent above and below the sapphire.
Head measures 12.5 mm north-south and is 12 mm east-west. The shank is 1.6 mm wide at reverse and the ring is a size 4.75.
In very good vintage condition, with minor surface wear and no damage of any sort noted.
