Vintage Sapphirine and Aurora Borealis Rhinestone Brooch and Earrings. What a striking set! This spiral brooch and sculptural clip on earrings were made in the 1960s in West Germany. The brooch features oval and round glass stones in purplish blue sapphirine glass that sometimes appears nearly givre. The stones have both both shiny and frosted finish. The pin also features faceted marquise rhinestones with aurora borealis finish. All stones are unfoiled and prong set in open back mountings. The pin is finished with a pin stem and roll over safety clasp. The matching earrings feature marquise stones with and without aurora borealis finish, as well as rectangular frosted glass stones in an arch atop the marquise stones. They are finished with clip backs stamped M WEST GERMANY. All pieces are in Very Good vintage condition, with some scratches to the aurora borealis finish.

MEASUREMENTS: Brooch is 1 7/8" long by 1 3/4" wide. Clip on earrings are 1" long by 3/4" wide.
CONDITION: Very Good vintage condition, with some scratches to the aurora borealis finish. Set was previously owned and worn.
