Antique Edwardian 14K White Gold 1.50 CT Old Mine Cut Diamonds and Lab Created Rubies Ring Size 3 1/2. This ring features one Old Mine Cut diamond bead set with eight prongs in an octagonal bezel, and two smaller Old Mine Cut diamonds bead set on the shoulders, as well as two bead set lab created rubies. Accented with milgrain details and open cut work. The ring was originally created about 1910, but was modified in the 1990s by the addition of a Finger Fit expandable hinged ring shank that allows the ring to open to slide over your knuckle, then snap closed securely in place.
The ring will fit a size 3 1/2 and is in excellent vintage condition, with the noted modification of the shank.

CENTER DIAMOND CLARITY: I3, with an internal fissure that reaches the surface of the table. This stone is stable, as it has been worn in this mounting for about a hundred years.
SIDE DIAMONDS CLARITY: SI2
DIAMOND COLOR: G-H
OTHER STONES: Two round faceted lab created rubies weighing approximately .14 CT in combined total weight
HALLMARK/HISTORY: Finger Fit 14K on the expansion mechanism. The remainder of the ring tests as 14K white gold
MEASUREMENTS: approximately13.4 mm wide at the head, sitting 6.6 mm above the finger
RING SIZE: 3.5, with an expansion shank that allows the ring to open to fit over enlarged knuckles.
