Vintage Sterling Silver Mid Century Modern Spiral Ring by Hans Hansen of Denmark. What a striking modernist design! The bold ring is marked Hans Hansen 925S Denmark on inside of shank. The ring is a size 7.5 and weighs 7.1 grams, with a delightful heft on the finger. In very good vintage condition, with no damage of any sort noted. We have left the original patina intact.

HALLMARKS/HISTORY: Hans Hansen 925S Denmark. Hans Hansen opened his goldsmith shop and smith in Kolding, Denmark about 1906. However, this ring almost certainly dates from the era of his Copenhagen shop which opened in 1940 and was eventually run by his son Karl Gustav Hansen.
CONDITION: In very good vintage condition, with no damage noted. Original patina of fine scratches intact.
MEASUREMENTS: Head measures 6.45 mm wide. Shank is 4.5 mm wide at the reverse.
WEIGHT: 7.1 grams
