Vintage Seventies 14K Gold Swoop Ring with Sapphire Doublet. A bold modernist curve surrounds a cornflower blue stone set in a six prong head in this ring made in the 1970s. HALLMARKS/HISTORY: Ringcraft 14K. Ringcraft was founded in approximately 1929, and was purchased by Paul Givlin when the first owner retired. When Paul retired, his share was bought by his eldest son Donald who ran it until the recession after the 9/11 bombings made it no longer possible.
CONDITION: In very good vintage condition, with minimal surface wear.
MEASUREMENTS: Ring is 12.1 mm wide at front, tapering to 1.7 at reverse
WEIGHT: 2.9 grams
