Vintage Kaspar & Esh 14K White Gold Diamond Add-A-Link Bracelet. This bracelet features a beautiful ornate 14K white gold filigree center link with a bead set single cut diamond. The link is attached to to a 10K white gold square snake chain watch bracelet. This combination is typical of the Kaspar & Esh Add A Link bracelets that were first made in the 1920s. The K&E Company of NY was first engaged in creating watch cases for Longines watchmakers. They developed a link system that could be added to the sides of the watch case, ultimately allowing an entire gold and diamond watch band to be created link by link over time. The concept was then utilized in diamond bracelets without the watches. This particular bracelet has the first center link and a coordinating watch band. According the the Kaspar & Esh Company, they are still able to create additional links for any of their original designs, so one could add to this bracelet, even though this link style is not currently avertised for sale. The link measures 30 mm X 10.5 mm and the bracelet is 7 inches long and is finished with a fold over clasp with safety chain.
