Art Deco 935 Silver Golden Yellow Glass Marcasite Bar Pin. A center rectangular scissor cut citrine yellow glass stone is flanked by two roses. The frame of the piece has decorative openwork with marcasite accents. The design incorporates elements of the late Edwardian and early Art Deco eras, leading me to date it around 1920. It is finished with a safety pin clasp and has an added clasp that may not be original to the brooch. Marked 935 on reverse with a tiny cursive "A" or "V". This pretty brooch is in good vintage condition, but is missing two tiny marcasites.
