Antique Victorian Sash Pin Gold Glass Stones with Ivy Decoration. Green gold filled ivy leaves and vines decorate this oval brooch that is set with three elongated ovals of citrine colored glass in milgrain edged bezels. In Victorian symbolism, ivy is used to indicate faithfulness, friendship, and eternal love. Large brooches like this were often worn in place of belt buckles in the Victorian era. Imagine using it as the perfect accent on a scarf, a purse, or a hat. The brooch measures 2 X 3 inches and was made about 1900.
