Art Deco 14K White and Yellow Gold Filigree Ring with Royal Blue Lab Created Sapphire. Made in the 1920s, this ring features a scissor-cut bright blue lab-created spinel set in scalloped prongs atop a raised filigree gallery. There are floral and acanthus leaf accents.
The stone measures 10.2 mm x 12 mm x 6.2 mm and has an estimated weight of 4 carats.
The ring measures 15.9 mm wide at the head, which stands 7.5 mm high. Shank tapers to 2.4 mm at the reverse.
The ring is a size 5 3/4 size and is unmarked, but tests as 14K gold.
In well-loved vintage condition, with very abraded facets and a replacement shank.
