Vintage Blue Glass Clear Rhinestone Gold Filled Art Moderne Necklace by Binder Brothers. This beautiful short necklace features a center ornament with bold gold folded swoops, oval blue glass in open back settings, round and baguette foil backed rhinestones. This pendant is stationary on a square snake chain that is finished with a spring ring. Marked on the reverse 1/20 - 12 K.T. - G.F, with BB in two linked circles, the mark of Binder Brothers Inc. of New York City. The necklace is in good vintage condition, with some darkening to baguette rhinestones and some discoloration to the metal (primarily on the reverse).
ERA: Mid-Century, 1950s
METAL/MATERIALS: Base metal and rhinestone
HALLMARKS/HISTORY: 1/20 - 12 K.T. - G.F, with BB in two linked circles, the mark of Binder Brothers Inc. of New York City, which has been in business since about 1922. Also marked on the jump ring and spring ring.
CONDITION: In good vintage condition, with some darkening to baguette rhinestones and some discoloration to the metal (primarily on the reverse)
MEASUREMENTS: Measures approximately 15 inches long, with ornament measuring 1 1/4" X 1 3/4"
