Dramatic Sculptural Silver Earrings by Frederic Jean DuClos. Made of 925 sterling silver over wax, the electroform clip-on earrings were made by Federic Jean DuClos, a French-born artist who opened a jewelry business in California in the mid-1980s. These earrings are bold and oversized, with a very eighties vibe and I would date them to the late 1980s. I have owned them since the late nineties, and they were pre-owned when I obtained them. They are 2 inches long and about 1 1/2 inches wide and finished with clips. In very good vintage condition with minor surface scuffs from wear and storage..
PLEASE NOTE that both earrings are right or lefts. They are not mirror images. I have seen the same in a few other pairs of DuClos earrings.
