Vintage Trifari Jelly Belly Fairyland Rooster Brooch - Alfred Phillipe Pin Lucite Trifanium Plating - 1949 Book Piece - Costume Jewelry
Vintage Trifari Jelly Belly Rooster Brooch. This incredible figural brooch features a "belly" of carved clear lucite plastic the tail and comb are decorated with baguette, round and marquise clear foil backed rhinestones and a red cabochon eye. The brooch was designed by Alfred Phillipe. The pin measures approximately 1 7/8 X 1 3/4 inches. It is in Very Good Vintage Condition with minor wear to the plating on the reverse and two tiny missing stones in the comb. Featured in many books, including Volume 2: American Costume Jewelry by the Brunialtis, page 198.
