Vintage Trifari Large Sterling Vermeil Crown Brooch. One of the most iconic Trifari jewelry pieces! This stunning pin is set with Red and Blue Glass Cabochons, Green Emerald Rhinestones, Clear Round Rhinestones, Round Blue Rhinestones, Unfoiled Green Glass Stones. All stones are set in sterling silver with gold plating. The brooch is finished with a roll over safety clasp. In Very Good Vintage Condition, with no damage noted aside from minimal discoloration of gold plating and very minor scratches on red cabochons.
Marked on reverse Trifari with Crown, Sterling, DES.PAT NO 137542. The patent for this design was filed by A. Philippe February 12, 1944. The brooch is featured as a book piece in multiple costume jewelry reference books.
